Confident Discipline

Do you feel overwhelmed by all the “shoulds” around parenting, especially regarding discipline? “Don’t do this,” “Make sure you do this,” “If you do that your kid will become a psychopath.” There are SO many theories, approaches, opinions, and methods out there around discipline - it can be hard to know what will be effective for you, your partner, and your children. Let’s cut through the noise, guilt, and fluff to discuss what the research shows as effective and how that translates into action in your home.

This 1 hour class will be led by Katie Linn, a licensed therapist, former teacher, and an expert on child development and parenting. Each strategy discussed will be connected to a strong ‘why’ to empower you in the implementation process, real-life scenarios to help you feel prepared, and plenty of time to dive into your questions and scenarios. This class will leave you feeling confident and prepared to nurture your child with loving, purposeful boundaries that will make parenting easier for you and more enjoyable for everyone.
